Sportsbook.com has one of the best customer service departments we’ve experienced in the online gambling industry. You can email them, live chat online until 9pm est, or call for support 24 hours a day. We’ve always spoken to people that can actually speak and understand English well when we’ve called (not common anymore because of the enormous amount of outsourcing). Even if you only have time to write them a quick email, they pledge “all email enquiries to us are guaranteed a response within 1 to 2 hours, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.”

On Sportsbook.com you can immediately wager your bonus money, but there’s one small catch: All bonuses and corresponding deposits must be wagered 4 times before the bonus can be withdrawn.  For example, if one deposits $50 and gets a $5 bonus, they must make wagers totaling $220 before they can withdraw the $5 bonus.

Deposits and withdraws are fairly simple to do.  You can deposit a minimum of $20 using either a Visa or MasterCard.  The industry standard for minimum deposits is somewhere around $50, so this lower limit may be attractive for some.  The only withdrawal method that Sportsbook accepts is by check.  The minimum withdrawal is $50 (remember this if you’re planning on depositing less than $50) and is sent out using courier service, which can take 2-3 weeks to be delivered.  Withdrawals of more than $1000 will be sent by priority mail, taking much less time to receive than the standard courier service.  Having to wait for your withdrawal may be an inconvenience for some, but only accepting withdrawal by check makes the process much simpler than it is on many other sites.  One strange rule Sportsbook.com has is that only your first withdrawal request made each month after June 17, 2007 will be free.  Subsequent requests in the same calendar month will be charged $40.00 each.

General inquiries at BetOnline.com are sent through on online form.  They also have a customer service number and online “Live Chat” with a customer service representative.  We’ve tried the live chat a few times and it’s been very helpful.  The representatives usually respond in a few seconds with quality responses.  We must have chatted for 20 minutes with them about withdrawal options.

Here are the bonus rules we found for both “choices” (Low Juice or Big Bonuses):
1. All earnings from free plays must be rolled over at least five times before requesting a payout.
2. To receive a bonus for a deposit, the request must be made within 48hrs of said deposit.
3. BetOnline.com often offers higher bonuses that require higher rollover stipulations. These restrictions must be agreed to before a client can receive a payout without forfeiting the bonuses.
4. BetOnline reserves the right to revoke all bonuses and earnings that result from the use of already-won bonuses before the promo restrictions have been honored.
5. BetOnline reserves the right to deny or cancel bonuses to players whose wagering record indicates they are making “Wise Guy” or “Steam” moves. BetOnline.com welcomes professional action, but will not give bonuses to professional players. Bonuses are intended for recreational players only. Decisions to cancel “wise guy” action are entirely up to the discretion of BetOnline.com, with no exceptions.
6. Due to security reasons, BetOnline.com does not award bonuses to customers outside of the United States and Canada.

Having to roll your earnings over 5 times before requesting a payout could be a pain if your only planning on betting a few times.

Finally, a site where waiting for a cashier’s check is NOT the best withdrawal method!  BetOnline.com even offers same day payout options, which is almost unheard of.  Here are their best withdrawal methods in our opinion, with any fees associated with them noted:

Same Day Payouts
Western Union – Minimum withdrawal is $100. Person to person payouts requested before 1PM EST will be available after 6PM EST. Fees vary according to amount requested.  Just use the “Live Chat” feature and ask a customer service rep how much the fee would be on a given deposit.  For a same day withdrawal of $100, the fee would be $26.  There is also a next day Western Union withdrawal. The fees may be lower when using this method instead.

2 – 4 Day Payouts
ACH Transfer – Minimum withdrawal is $100. There is a flat fee of $25 to use this service. This method is similar to a bank wire. The money is transferred directly from your player account to your bank account. Great option for higher withdrawal amounts since there is a flat fee of $25 for any amount up to $1500.

Cashier’s Check – Minimum withdrawal is $1500. There is a flat fee of $50 for all checks. The high withdrawal limit may rule this option out for many players. A 2 -4 day delivery time is the fastest we’ve seen in the industry. This may be why there’s a $50 fee.

BetOnline.com accepts a variety of deposit methods, but credit card (Visa and MasterCard) payment is probably the easiest method for American players.  Minimum deposit is $50. There are a few extra steps that Bet Online takes to protect you from fraud: “Whether the transaction is done over the phone or over the internet, we will ask you to sign and fax to us a credit card security form (which we will provide) along with copies of the credit card and a valid form of identification.”

Superbook offers a toll free customer service telephone number for US customers as well as live online help until 9pm EST every night.  They also have separate email addresses for technical problems, general questions, affiliate network, marketing inquiries, casino questions, and poker questions.  In our experience the customer service line has been helpful, although at times the representatives have trouble comprehending what we’re saying.

We recently called BetUS and were very impressed by the quality of service we received.  We were connected with an English speaking representative in about 30 seconds who went over every detail of our question regarding withdrawals with us.  At the end of the call, the representative gave us his name and direct extension to call back if we had any additional questions.  We’ve never seen this kind of service before in the online gambling industry.  BetUS.com actually has 2 customer service phone numbers, one for new account inquiries and one for payouts. Aside from the customer service phone numbers, BetUS.com also has one email address for customer inquiries.

After you receive your bonus money, you can immediately wager it.  Before withdrawing the bonus money, however, you’ll need to wager a certain proportion of your deposit and corresponding bonus.  For each “tier” split up by deposit amount, there is a different multiple that you must wager before you are allowed to withdraw the bonus money:

For example, let’s say you deposited $100 and received the 15% deposit bonus.  In order to be able to withdraw the free $15 you earned, you would need to wager a total of $115. 

If you deposit $300 you would receive 20% deposit bonus. In order to withdraw the free $60 you just earned, you have to wager at least $720 (2 x $360).

This pattern continues corresponding to the chart above.

DEPOSITS/WITHDRAWALS: 9
BetUS offers deposit by credit card, direct bank wire, money transfer, or check.  As with most gambling websites we feel credit card is the safest and most hassle free deposit method.  Withdrawals are only done with cashier’s check via FedEx which take 7-10 business days to receive.  BetUS takes a few extra steps to prevent fraud when you cash out.  They’ll email you a voucher that they request you fill out and sign, along with copies of your credit card that you used to deposit and a form of ID.  You can either scan and email or fax them this information.  A form of ID is only required on your first withdrawal request, and a copy of the credit card is only required once per credit card (if you decide to use a different card, they’ll need a copy of that too).
